What's that wonderful scent that greets you as you walk in the store? It's probably the fresh breads, apple cakes, or pies coming out of the oven in the back! The rest of our baked goods come from quality Amish and Mennonite bakeries in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, and Holmes County, Ohio.
Fruit pies, cream pies, custard pies, and seasonal fresh strawberry and peach pies, made fresh and set out on the shelves each morning. Apple, cherry, blueberry, peach, strawberry, shoofly... if you want it, we've probably got it!
Need one for Thanksgiving or a church dinner? Order ahead and we'll have it ready.
Soft white, hearty honey wheat, and mild sourdough loaves, the same bread we use for our breakfast and deli sandwiches. Pick up your loaf from the shelf in the bakery section, then come back to the deli and ask us to run it through the bread slicer for you.
Chocolate, pumpkin, oatmeal, and chocolate chip whoopie pies stacked on the shelf. Alongside them: sticky buns, cinnamon rolls, cookies, brownies, cakes, and so much more!
Holidays are our busiest stretch, especially November and December. If you need pies, rolls, or a cookie tray for a gathering, call the store at (540) 547-4449 and we'll get it on the list.
It changes through the week and through the season. This is a fair sample of a normal day.
Open Monday through Saturday, from 6:45 in the morning on weekdays. Stop in for a sandwich, stay for the ice cream, leave with a pie.
